This is Giraffe here. I have an important Crayon written report from Otter. I have been asked to read it to you:
Dear best friends ever,
We wanted to let you know that Otter didn't get through to the next round of the Goodreads competition.
Otter also wants everyone to know that she is fine and is playing Lego (birthday present) and has built a spaceship that has real opening doors and even another little spaceship inside (Otter Keeper helped).
This means Otter is actually, probably having more fun than Otter would have done, if Otter had got through to the next round.
Otter also wanted to say a massive thank you to you ALL for the wonderful support. We still did really well! This was a very hard competition and Team Otter should all feel very proud.
Personally I also want to say that, as Giraffe, although I don't know how it happened.... this is probably, partly, at least a little bit mostly my fault.
